American Autowire 510760 Highway 22 Plus Wiring Harness
American Autowire designed this Universal 510760 Highway 22 Plus Wiring Harness for wiring high-tech, high-end custom vehicles. It features 22 fully labeled circuits, an ATC fuse panel, fuses, and also GXL/XLPE GM color-coded wire throughout. Easy to read wire functions come labeled every 3 to 4 inches.
The main power connection kit includes dual 175 Amp mega fuses and a 6 gauge charge cable. It allows for the use of high amp alternators, and provides better fuse protection for the panel and charging system.
A built-in LED flasher supports LED turn signals without the need to purchase an additional item, while a back up light feed and power wires make the harness easier to install in a more modern vehicle. Extra connectors and wiring easily support a 4-headlight system without an additional add-on purchase.
Added features include an American Autowire signature gauge cluster disconnect and longer neutral safety wires for cars with console shifters. The pre-installed 20 amp relay easily changes to function as either a keyed 12 volt or ground triggered item. Battery and accessory power expansion comes available via heavy duty power studs on the panel.
An upgraded 20 Amp fuse wiper circuit supports all aftermarket wiper systems, and made an accessory circuit for more adaptability. The relocated AC/Heat fuse to an accessory circuit eliminates draw from the blower motor while the vehicle is being started.
Ignition, headlight and dimmer switches come included. The ignition uses a square GM-style key.
