ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 25133 Street Bandit Torque Converter for 1970-Up Ford C4 transmissions with the 5.625 in. small bellhousing. This hand-built 9.6” converter has a stall speed of 3200-3500 RPM, and can also handle up to 650 horsepower! It has been leak and pressure tested as well as digitally balanced.
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial-strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light-duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.
