ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 46013 Street Bandit Torque Converter for 1965-1991 GM TH400 transmissions. This hand-built 9.6” converter has a stall speed of 2800-3200 RPM, and it has been leak and pressure tested as well as digitally balanced. This converter comes highly recommended if you have upgraded intake, cylinder heads, headers, exhaust, cam, or gearing.
This converter is one of the lightest on the market, for huge power gains through less rotational mass!
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.
