ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 49025 Street Bandit Non-Lock Up Torque Converter for 1984-1997 GM LT 4L60E transmission applications with a 3 step input shaft. This hand-built 9.6” converter has a 3500-4200 RPM stall speed, and can also handle up to 650 horsepower!
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace-brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial-strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light-duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.
