ACC Performance designed this Boss Hog 49725 Wild Boar Outlaw Non-Lock Up Torque Converter for 1984-1997 GM LT 4L60E transmission applications with a 3 step input shaft. This hand-built 9.6” converter has a stall speed of 3500-4200 RPM and also features an anti-ballooning plate. It has been leak and pressure tested as well as digitally balanced. This converter is highly recommended for Trans Brake, Nitrous Oxide, Turbocharger or Supercharger applications.
This converter is also one of the lightest on the market, for huge power gains through less rotational mass!
All Boss Hog torque converters are welded at the fins, not furnace-brazed, eliminating erosion over time. They include industrial strength Torrington-type bearings that handle more torque than light duty needle bearings. Aircraft aluminum washers instead of inferior fiber washers ensure all power transfers directly to the ground.
