This Comp Cams 11-205-3 BBC 268H High Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street/performance usage, and it features good performance with a slight rough idle in 396 c.i. and is great for heavy towing in 454 c.i. motors. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 1900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
