Comp Cams 26918CS-KIT Beehive Valve Spring Kit

Comp Cams designed these 26918CS-KIT Valve Spring Kit for GM LS engines using a hydraulic roller cam. With a .625" maximum lift, they work great for high performance street, oval track as well as endurance applications. They deliver increased valve train stability as well as a much lighter valve train by using less spring pressure for better valve control and reduced weight of both the spring and retainer.

The unique Beehive shape handles valve train stress more efficiently to eliminate damaging harmonics as well as increasing high RPM horsepower and durability. The oval/multi-arc wire shape places the maximum area of the wire at the point of highest stress to handle valve train stress more efficiently as well as allowing better heat dissipation for longer life.

Because of this unique Beehive design, the valve train can handle more RPM as well as more aggressive cam profiles.
