This Comp Cams CL11-423-8 BBC Xtreme Energy Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street machine use, and it a good intake, headers in addition to lower rear gears. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio as well as a 2000+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
