This Comp Cams CL11-450-8 BBC Magnum Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for hot street machine use, is best with an aluminum intake and headers, as well as featuring a rough idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio as well as a 2800+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
