Dakota Digital RTX-79C-PU-X RTX Gauge Kit, 1979-91 Chevy GMC Pickup / Fullsize SUV
Dakota Digital designed this RTX-79C-PU-X Gauge Kit for 1979-1987 Chevrolet Pickup Trucks, as well as 1979-1991 Chevy Blazers, Suburbans and the GMC Jimmy. This innovative RTX Series kit maintains the beloved Chevy and GMC Square-Body look, without sacrificing the late-model features you love. Every effort has been put forth to incorporate OEM design elements regarding the layout, face styling and indicators.
The twin TFT message centers give the look of a vintage tumbler odometer, but can be expanded with auxiliary readings to keep you informed. Factory turn signal indicators will be converted to modern LED lighting, and the OEM gear-indicator can be retained, or can be shown digitally with the addition of a GSS-3000 (sold separately).
This is as close to stock as you can get while enjoying color-changing LED backlighting and late-model drivetrain compatibility!
CNC machined housings come filled with electronics, designed to raise the bar for aftermarket instrumentation while making your ride a showpiece. The high-definition TFT message centers allow full configuration to display just about any piece of information needed. This kit utilizes a central control box to make installation and setup as easy as possible.
The kit includes the wiring harness as well as sending units for water temperature and oil pressure.
