This Howards Cams CL112601-08 SBC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft and Lifter Kit fits 262-400 cubic inch Small Block Chevy engines from 1955-1998. Howards designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features good mid-range power and a lopey idle. A 4-barrel carburetor, aftermarket/ported intake manifold, headers, 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 3200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
