This Howards Cams CL120326-12 BBC Gen 6 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft and Lifter Kit is designed for 454-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1996 through 1999. Howards designed this cam for moderate street/mild bracket use, and it features good mid-range power and a fair idle. A 10.0-11.5:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket/ported intake, headers, lower rear end gears, and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
