This Howards Cams CL121181-08 BBC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft and Lifter Kit fits 396-502 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam for street/bracket use, and it features strong mid to upper end performance and a lopey idle. A 9.5:1+ compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
