This Howards Cams CL121271-12 BBC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft and Lifter Kit fits 396-502 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam for Pro street/strip use, and it features strong mid-range with good upper end power and a fair idle. A 9.5:1+ compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 3400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
