This Howards Cams CL121616-12 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the Gen 6 454-502 Big Block Chevy from 1996-1999. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit for street/strip use, and it has a lopey idle and provides excellent mid to top range power. A 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio and 3200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
