This Howards Cams CL121721-12 BBC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft and Lifter Kit fits 396-502 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features broad mid-range to upper end performance and a good idle. A 9.5:1+ compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 2900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
