This Howards Cams CL122116-14 Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the Gen 6 454-502 Big Block Chevy from 1996-1999. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit for street/strip use, and it has a fair idle and provides excellent mid-range power. It works well with a Roots-style blower running at 10 PSI max, and a 2500+ stall speed torque converter is highly recommended.
