This Howards Cams CL122142-12DL BBC Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft and Lifter Kit fits 396-502 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam for bracket use, and it features strong mid-range torque & horsepower and has a fair idle. A 10.0:1+ compression ratio and a 3400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
