This Howards Cams CL127192-14 American Muscle Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 396-502 Big Block Chevy from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit as a near duplicate of the Chevy LS6 465hp/454 cam (GM #3904362) for street use, and it has a smooth idle. A 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio and 2200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
