This Howards Cams CL128045-09 Big Mama Rattler Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft & Lifter Kit fits the 396-502 Big Block Chevy from 1965-1996. Howards designed this cam and lifter kit for street/strip use, and it has a lopey idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and 2500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
