MSD 7445 Pro-Cap Cap-A-Dapt Distributor Cap for V8 Distributors
MSD designed this 7445 Pro-Cap Cap-A-Dapt Distributor Cap for MSD V8 distributors, and it adapts a large, Ford style cap onto your MSD distributor. This 5 inch diameter cap spaces the HEI spark plug style terminals a full 2 inches apart which ensures accurate spark delivery as well as far less chance of spark scatter inside the cap.
The injection molded Rynite rotor features incredible strength as well as resistance to spark. A deep skirt and thick vanes stir up the air in the cap for even more ionization prevention. Rotor screws are overmolded with Rynite for increased spark isolation.
Indexed as well as firmly secured with two screws, the extra thick rotor tip can easily handle high heat. A screw-down retainer keeps all of the plug wires firmly attached to each terminal.
This is the same cap used on the 44 amp Pro-Mag for your Pro-Billet distributor!
