MSD designed this 8408 Distributor Cap with performance in mind as a direct replacement for popular Ford MSD HEI distributors. Manufactured from injection molded high-quality and voltage insulating Rynite, it also comes with stainless steel terminals that resists carbon tracking.
The cap and rotor of any ignition system is a maintenance item. Just as you change the oil and filter of your car, you should always replace the cap and rotor as a set.
