These Strange Engineering 1350 Series U1610HD U-Joint Girdles are manufactured from heat treated Billet Chrome Moly steel straps, which have 65% higher tensile strength over OEM straps. ETD 150 steel studs and 12 point ARP distorted thread locking nuts complete the set.
These girdles feature 360 degree support of the U-Joint bearing cap, and reduce operating temperature and increase life. The distorted thread locking nuts protect against inadvertent over-torquing, avoiding bearing journal brinelling or needle roller damage.
