Vintage Air designed their 561285 SureFit Evaporator Kit for the 1970-1972 Chevy Chevelle, Monte Carlo and El Camino without Factory Air Conditioning. This Vintage Air Gen 5 SureFit climate control system is the most powerful and technologically advanced system available today! Engineered to cool your vehicle faster than ever, it features a quiet, high performance variable speed blower and a dash/floor/defrost blend.
This kit employs an electronic microprocessor-controlled system that eliminates cables or vacuum connections. Separate high-density aluminum heat exchangers pack the maximum possible performance and reliability within the confines of your dash.
Separate high-capacity A/C and heater coils provide rapid vent temperature adjustment. This kit also features interchangeable defrost and floor heat plenums for increased mounting flexibility.
It is manufactured with an injection molded case and blend air doors for optimal precision, strength and quality. Removable access covers for coil service and an OEM block-type expansion valve also come included.
