XS Power 993 Voltage Step-Down Reducer
This XS Power 993 Voltage Step-Down Reducer protects your sensitive electrical components from excessive voltage. While using 16 volts in your race car gives you plenty of spark, not everything in your electrical grid performs at its best with all that power. Use the XS Power 993 to easily step down the voltage to critical gear without sacrificing performance!
When not using an alternator: Connect sensitive components to the blue wire. This will drop the voltage 2.4 volts and will yield around 14.5 volts on a typical application with a fully charged battery. When using an alternator: Connect sensitive components to the orange wire. This will drop voltage 3.6 volts and will yield around 14.9 volts on a typical application.
