This Comp Cams 01-424-8 BBC Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 454-502 Gen VI Big Block Chevy from 1996-1999. Comp designed this cam for serious street/strip use, and it features strong low-end torque and a nice idle. A 10.5:1 or higher compression ratio, a good intake, headers, ported heads and a 3200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
