This Comp Cams 08-601-8 SBC 291THR7 Mutha' Thumpr Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 305-350 Small Block Chevy from 1987-1998 with O.E. Hydraulic Roller Cams. Comp designed this cam for high performance street performance/strip use, and it features good mid-range power and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, aftermarket/ported intake, gears & headers, and a 2300+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
