This Comp Cams 11-408-8 BBC Xtreme Energy Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for RV/towing use on stock to mildly modified engines, and it features strong torque and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
