This Comp Cams 11-423-8 BBC Xtreme Energy Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features great low-end torque and a nice idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, intake & headers, and a 2000+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
