This Comp Cams 11-601-8 BBC Mutha' Thumpr Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 396-454 Big Block Chevy from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for high performance street/strip use, and it features great low-end torque and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, intake, gears, headers, and a 2600+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
