This Comp Cams 11-604-5 BBC 294B-8 Drag Race Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft fits 396-454 cubic inch Mark IV Big Block Chevy engines from 1967-1996. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong mid-range torque & horsepower and has a rough idle. A 10.5:1+ compression ratio and a 3900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
