This Comp Cams 12-234-2 SBC XE256H Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/performance use, and it features strong torque through low and mid-range with a smooth idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
