This Comp Cams 12-239-3 SBC X4250H Xtreme 4x4 Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/performance use, and it features excellent throttle response with good mid-range and a noticeable idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 1700+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
