This Comp Cams 12-242-2 SBC XE268H Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/performance use, and it features good low-end torque and a good idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 2000+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
