This Comp Cams 12-408-8 SBC XR258HR Xtreme Energy Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features strong torque and good mileage. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 1500+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
