This Comp Cams 12-413-8 SBC X4270HR Xtreme 4x4 Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features good mid-range power and a noticeable idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, headers, 3.55 - 4.10 gears and a 1900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
