This Comp Cams 12-420-8 SBC 270HR Magnum Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for mild street performance/strip use, and it features great low-end torque and a slightly noticeable lope at idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, aftermarket intake, headers, 3.40 - 4.10 rear gears and a 2200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
