This Comp Cams 12-460-8 SBC 304HR Magnum Retro-Fit Hydraulic Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip applications, and it features great low-end torque and a very rough idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, aftermarket intake & headers, 3.90 or lower gear ratio and a 3400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
