 This Comp Cams 12-600-4 SBC 279TH7 Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for high performance street use, and it features a choppy/thumping idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
