This Comp Cams 12-677-4 SBC Xtreme Energy Mechanical Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1958-1998. Comp designed this cam for street/strip use, and it features very strong mid-range torque and throttle response with a noticeable idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, lower rear end gears and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
