This Comp Cams 34-600-5 BBF 279TH7 Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 429-460 Big Block Ford from 1968 to 1995. Comp designed this cam for high performance street/strip use, and it features a choppy/thumping idle. A 9.5:1 or higher compression ratio, gears and a 2200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
