This Comp Cams 51-225-4 Pontiac XE284H Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 265-455 Pontiac engines from 1955-1981. Comp designed this cam for street/strip applications, and it features strong power and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, headers, gears and a 2700+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
