This Comp Cams 51-226-4 Pontiac XE294H Xtreme Energy Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 265-455 Pontiac engines from 1955-1981. Comp designed this cam for pro street/bracket racing, and it features good power and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, good intake, headers, gears and a 3200+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
