This Comp Cams 51-240-4 Pontiac 292H Magnum Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 265-455 Pontiac engines from 1955-1981. Comp designed this cam for street/strip performance usage, and it features strong low-end torque and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, 3.73:1 or 4.30:1 gears and a 2900+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
