This Comp Cams 51-601-5 Pontiac 287TH7 Mutha' Thumpr Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits the 265-455 Pontiac engines from 1955-1981. Comp designed this cam for high performance street/strip use, and it features strong power and a rough idle. A 9.0:1 or higher compression ratio, intake, gears, headers and a 2600+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
