Edelbrock designed this 61525 Performer RPM CNC Cylinder Head for 1962-79 389, 400, 421, 428 as well as 455 CID V8 Pontiac engines. It features CNC profiled intake and exhaust runners, as well as fully CNC’d 87cc combustion chambers. This head features extra thick port walls and a compact port size, making it ideal for CNC as well as hand porting!
Fully threaded inserts for the rocker studs and exhaust manifold bolt holes deliver strength as well as durability, and the machined valve cover rail produces an optimum gasket sealing surface. Optimized oil return passages provide increased oil flow.
This complete cylinder head includes guide plates, rocker studs, springs for hydraulic roller cams, bronze valve guides, hardened seats as well as high-quality stainless steel valves for direct bolt-on application.
