This Howards Cams 110503-10S SBC Small Base Circle Steel Billet Solid Roller Camshaft fits the 262-400 Small Block Chevy from 1955-1998. Howards designed this cam for street as well as strip use. It works best in larger engines and it features broad power range. A 12.5:1 or higher compression ratio as well as a 5000+ stall speed torque converter come highly recommended.
Howards recommends Small Base Circle camshafts in stroker engines to provide adequate rod bolt clearance while the engine is rotating.
