This Howards Cams 112601-06 SBC Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshaft fits 262-400 cubic inch Small Block Chevy engines from 1955-1998. Howards designed this cam for bracket racing or 1/4 - 3/8 mile Limited Sportsman, and it features a lopey idle. A 4-barrel carburetor, aftermarket/ported intake manifold, headers, and 10.0:1 or higher compression ratio are highly recommended, along with a 3200+ stall speed torque converter for the drag strip.
