This Howards Cams 120235-12 BBC Hydraulic Roller Camshaft is designed for 396-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1965 through 1996. Howards designed this cam for off road and street performance, and it features great low & mid-range power and a good idle. A 9.0:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket/ported intake, headers, lower rear end gears, and a 1800+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
