This Howards Cams 120325-12 BBC Hydraulic Roller Camshaft is designed for 396-502 cubic inch Big Block Chevy engines from 1965 through 1996. Howards designed this cam for the moderate street/mild bracket, and it features good mid-range power and a fair idle. A 10.0-11.5:1+ compression ratio, an aftermarket/ported intake, headers, lower rear end gears, and a 2400+ stall speed torque converter are highly recommended.
